Autumn Wedding at the Providence Cotton Mill

Say what you will about 2020, but it truly has brought that crystal clear 20/20 vision it promised! Our lives all went crazy at once. Suddenly, priorities were challenged and relationships went through the refinery of the decade! For this couple the light at the end (or maybe in the middle) of the tunnel, was their beautiful Autumn wedding at the perfectly rustic Providence Cotton Mill!

On September 18, Maddie and Alex finally said ‘I do’, at the Providence Cotton Mill, after 8 years of dating and waiting. Their original wedding plans were postponed due to COVID but instead of breaking, they drew closer to each other. They smiled and celebrated and had fun all along the way and then down the aisle!

With every perfect detail in place and loved ones present, these two college sweethearts had the kind of wedding you wish you were invited to! The Providence Cotton Mill was the ideal open air space for their Autumn wedding! Sommer with Elegant & Classy Events absolutely killed it!

You can tell Maddie and Alex are best friends and their love has been rooted deep. They each told us that the other knows how to make them smile better than anyone else. That’s how you get through tough times! It’s not about keeping your head down and pushing through, it’s about enjoying the fact that your life is still happening! It’s time to thrive!

let the crazy come your way!

The way you start your marriage can say a lot about your relationship. If you’re able to make it through something as testy as COVID during an election year (don’t forget the killer hornets!), you can make it through anything together!

So here’s to the next adventure for Mr. & Mrs. Szucs! They can move forward with the confidence that they have what it takes to thrive in this crazy world!

And for all of you in the middle of the tricky winds, remember this:
“Love is patient and love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Cor. 13:4-8
