Lydia and Emil’s wedding happened to be on the day Hurricane Florence decided to hit Charlotte! With having to change their venue last minute to an indoor location, you could imagine the huge amount of stress and chaos that could have come! But, it didn’t change the love that these two have for each other! When it came down to it, what was important was celebrating their relationship and getting married! These two walked through the storm together with the support of amazing friends and family. It was absolutely amazing and heart filling to see everyone come together and help in any way they could! Ashton Ward, their wedding planner, is a rock star! Seriously! Everyone involved made this wedding so special and unforgettable! When we first got to know Lydia and Emil… Lydia had said how Emil is strong for her in the times she feels anxious or stressed. His eyes tell her he loves her, that he understands and is always there for her. Emil says that the moment he is with Lydia, everything melts away and he can instantly be in a good mood. And thats exactly what we witnessed on their wedding day! Being there for each other. Supporting each other. In the times of stress when nothing is turning out how you had planned, they held each other up! It really is the best start to a marriage! And plus.. they got awesome rain pictures out of it!
