So I, Kelly, have the opportunity to second shoot with some amazing photographers in the Charlotte, NC area this wedding season. Vera from Vera Gayazov Photography, one of my dear friends and partners in crime, allowed me to come with her and be her second hand girl. This property on Lake York was the perfect location for the wedding of Justin & Emily, a young couple wildly in love and hoping for an intimate wedding with their best friends and family backyard style. That’s exactly what they got. When you are a second shooter, you don’t get to meet the couple before and build a relationship. But with these two, the connection between them was so raw and organic that it was hard not to fall in love with their love. This wedding was comfy and cozy and the rain that came didn’t disturb  the day at all. For us moody-er photographers, the gloom makes for amazing portraits. Take a look for yourself!
