Hey everybody! It’s been a while, but we are so excited to get back to blogging and share all the amazing weddings and engagements we have been a part of these past months! Everything has been a bit crazy as many of you know with the two of us getting married, but we are back now! What better way to get back in to our blogging than with our very first wedding that we did together back in February?!

Margey and Ivan are two amazing individuals with a huge appetite for fun and enjoyment in life! We couldn’t post this wedding without thanking the amazing team from Head Over Heels Weddings and Events for making it such an amazing, beautiful, and stressless day!

We started the morning out with brunch at BLT in Uptown Charlotte with Margey and some of her southern belle girlfriends!

Later we had to split up, which we don’t like doing unless we have to:( Kelly got some great detail shots and  candids of the girls getting ready at Duke Mansion, while Bryson showed the guys some love at Ivan’s Brother’s Uptown Charlotte penthouse!

Margey has two dad’s, so we got to do a double daddy reveal!

The ceremony was held at an elegant restaurant over in South Park called Corkbuzz. The ceremony was intimate with their best friends and family as the only attendees.  We could never have asked for a more beautiful venue with amazing decor.

After the ceremony we got to partying and taking portraits! Since the venue was so small and had no natural light, we took the family outside to a breezeway and were even able to get a Mafia inspired family pic for Ivan! Portrait locations and time with Margey and Ivan were very limited as well, so we made it work in the parking garage right outside the restaurant!

We finished the night off with some great sparkler exit photos and a couple cute pics in their getaway car!

This wedding was so beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to have as our first wedding together! We remember thinking after that night, “If it can only go up from here, we have got a great journey ahead of us!”. We are so thankful to everyone who helped us grow so quickly, so stay tuned for more of the love stories we have had the pleasure of capturing this year!
