Can you just look at these two!?

These two love birds made the trek out to the middle of nowhere, somewhere Bryson saw on the side of the road coming back from a wedding one day with us. We love that our clients trust us, even before wedding day, enough to let us have full creativity during their engagement sessions. This day we learned that Nick & Stacey are a perfect match for each other. They have a zest for life and laughter like no other couple we’ve ever met. It is safe to say we hit it off right away and now call them friends. From the moment we met them, a trusting bond was made and we knew from then that their engagement session and wedding were going to be a blast. We knew that we could capture their own special love in a beautiful way and we think we did just that. Take a look and see for yourselves!

This post is going to be a little different from normal! Since it’s about our trip to Alaska for a wedding, we figured we would just add comments here and there to tell you a little bit about what’s going on in each photo! We have been a lot of beautiful places (Hawaii, Spain, Australia) just to name a few, but we have never been somewhere as beautiful as Alaska! We recommend that anyone who likes to travel put it as one of their musts of places to go!

This was one of the places we stopped on our second day in town on our way to Talkeetna, Alaska. We saw it while driving on the highway and took a little spontaneous adventure!

We hope some of the photos from our awesome trip to Alaska will spur you to start saving and go yourself! We couldn’t recommend it enough! Hope you enjoyed, with us their will be many more adventures to come!

When we started this company last October we never thought that we were going to have awesome experiences like hiding in a treehouse for a surprise engagement shoot! Life has all sorts of surprises though! Blake proposed to his beautiful fiancé Shelby over a glass of wine and a tub of hummus, in a treehouse overlooking a gorgeous vineyard! It doesn’t really get much better than that! We absolutely love proposal shoots because they come with incredibly raw emotions every single time! After the proposal we gave them some space to soak it all in while we drank some wine slushies, and then came back together for a little mini engagement session out in the vineyard. Since we had such a great time with them, they invited us to stay and swing dance at the vineyard and meet their families. Who knew vineyards had swing dance lessons with wine involved?! Drop us a comment and let us know what you think about this adorable proposal!

So this month has been crazy! We have been visiting amazing places with friends and family, and enjoying gorgeous views in Alaska! We can’t wait to share more about that trip! Fo now, we are so excited to share these two love birds! Joe and Jordan are some of the kindest people we have met. They are so mellow and we really enjoy that about them. We started out our shoot with them in uptown Charlotte at the French Quarter and then made our way to the beautiful McGill Rose Garden! If you haven’t found your dream wedding venue in Charlotte, then you might check there, because that is where magic is made! It’s right over in NODA and is a hidden treasure!

This has got to be one of the sweetest moments we have ever had the privilege of capturing! Collin and Stephanie are head over heels for each other, and we were the ones he (and her amazing twin sister) chose to capture the proposal! Currently, they live in 2 different states but when they came back to Charlotte to visit with Collin’s family, he seized the opportunity while they were both in the same place! We are so stoked for them, and can’t wait to see what they do! Especially Stephanie since she is a fellow photographer who takes amazing Black and White portraits!

If you are thinking of hiring a photographer for your proposal, or getting your boyfriend to, do it! We highly recommend you find someone who can take photos for you! There’s nothing like the raw emotions you will see in this post! You can’t fake these, and it really is an awesome memory to have captured! Plus you can always ask the photographer do a mini engagement session right after like Collin did!
